Resort Policy in Response to Coronavirus Situation (updated 4th February 2020)

In light of the developing Coronavirus situation, Belle Maison will be monitoring the situation and will be adopting policies in line with major tourism operators and organisations (including the relevant statutory bodies). As such, this policy will change as the situation becomes clearer.  Below is the current policy.

Currently, any visitors traveling to, from and within China, Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan and checking in at Belle Maison on or before 29th February, 2020 will be permitted to cancel without penalty irrespective of the tariff type initially purchased. Belle Maison will also offer to amend travel dates or offer a resort credit should this be preferred by eligible guests under the above policy. Proof of travel to, from and within these locations should be provided (eg copy of original itinerary or flight details) and direct contact made with the resort on info@bellemaison.com.au

For all other guests, the terms and conditions displayed and accepted when making your reservation at the time of booking will continue to apply.

It is our strongest recommendation that all guests (current and future whether purchasing a flexible or non flexible tariff) consider the purchase of an appropriate travel insurance policy to safeguard against unforeseen cancellation due to the Coronavirus or other incidents. For domestic travellers, there are many inexpensive travel insurance providers to choose from.

We’re Improving Things Just for You!

At Belle Maison, we have a forward thinking approach to provide ongoing improvements to the resort for your convenience and enjoyment.   With so many guests returning year after year, we feel it is essential to ensure that the resort continues to exceed expectations on each and every visit.

As such, Belle Maison will be undergoing minor renovations to certain areas within the exterior grounds commencing 1st February, 2020.  It is expected these works will take place over a ten day period.   Our Reflection Pond (water feature) and some pathways and garden areas, will be upgraded to keep them looking stunning.

Guests should be aware that all guest facilities will be available as per normal and the provision of all services is unaffected.  There may, however, be some noise from works at times (particularly the first two days).  As works are only permitted between the hours of 7.30am and 4pm on Monday to Fridays and 7.30am to 2pm on Saturdays.  There will be no renovation noise outside of these hours.  No works at all permitted on Sundays.

Apartments and internal facilities will not be affected.
